Palin speaks out against Fey

with 3 comments

You simply can not write lines like this:

“I did see that Tina Fey was named entertainer of the year and Katie Couric’s ratings have risen,” Palin said in the interview. “I know that a lot of people are capitalizing on, oh I don’t know, perhaps some exploiting that was done via me, my family, my administration — that’s a little bit perplexing, but it also says a great deal about our society.”

All I can hear is Tina Fey saying that line on SNL.

  1. Now what did you think I’d say? That she’s a brilliant lady for standing in front of the turkey slaughtering?! 😉

  2. I understand that she feels picked on — by SNL who’s made fun of every politician ever, and by Katie Couric who simply interviewed her — but what is the “great deal” that all this says about society? Once again, I simply don’t understand what she’s saying.

  3. She’s sayin’ “Stop it, I wanna run for Senate and you people keep havin’ those Tina Fey’s and turkey slaughterings on them TVs. What’s a girl to do?” Plus, the daughter with the (pick whatever word you would like to use here) fiance probably doesn’t help matters much either.
